I have been busy designing cards for Stamps In The Mail round #30. How can it already be the 30th one? I chose to use Party Wishes this time because I think it is a fun set and I like all of the accessories that go with it.
Stampin Up made punches to coordinate with the little balloon, cupcake and candle. This time they made the stamp a little bigger than the punch so when you punch it the image fills up the entire punch. For this first card, I chose to focus on the punches and have the color from from behind.
I love the greeting! "A party without cake is just a meeting"
Tip:
I first punched out the cupcake on a white scrap, and then I punched it with the 1" square punch. It is easier to center it that way. The colored pieced behind it is 1 1/4".
You may be wondering what Stamps In The Mail is.
How the club works
Each club lasts for 3 months. Each month you will receive stamps and/or accessories. PLUS all the pre-cut cardstock & embellishments for 4 great projects with a picture of the completed card and/or instructions. You will make 2 of each card, one to keep and one to give! Before the order is placed, you will be notified of the supplies you will receive.
Cost is $39 per month with a 3 month commitment.
You will get a total of 24 great projects in all, plus many fun products.
