Do you make your Christmas cards? This year I chose to use All Ye Faithful to make my Christmas Cards. Once again I waited too long to start them! Every year I tell myself to start as soon as the Holiday Catalog comes out, but things keep me busy and they always trump starting my cards. Next year I really hope to begin them in October.
When I fist came up with this design, I thought of embossing it, but then I quickly reminded myself of the last time I heat embossed my Christmas cards. If I had started early I would have embossed them, but I thought it sill looked nice without the embossing.
I decided to make the same card in 2 different colors, so here is the Elegant Eggplant version. I originally started doing a second color because I didn't want to wait for my order to come with more gold vellum, but I ended up liking having 2 colors. I like them both.
The inside greeting is:
May the wonder of that first Christmas,
the joy of God's abundant blessings, and
the peace of the Lord be with you always.
I love the greeting!
These are the supplies I used for the 2 cards.
I hope you are having a wonderful week as you draw near to Christmas. I just love this time with our family. We try to bring in the true reason for Christmas in all that we do. The birth of Jesus Christ is what Christmas is all about.
