What I use to ship items and classes

I get asked from time to time what I use to ship items. Here are some of my favorite things.

I will start with 12×12 Designer Series Paper.

  • To send several 12×12 this is the best way to keep it from bending. You can adjust the width. https://amzn.to/4nr2plK It also works nice when sending ribbon and embellishments along with 12×12 DSP.

Record Sleeves

This is a record sleeve but it holds the 12×12 paper nicely. I like to use these when I am doing a lot with one pack of Designer Series Paper. https://amzn.to/3Kq3jk3. It comes in a pack of 100. You could share them with customers and friends.

Poly Mailer

I also use Poly Mailers to ship 12×12 paper. I like to keep the extra card board piece that comes in my 12×12 packs so when I ship using a poly mailer I can add it for extra support. Our Specialty DSP comes with a thicker piece of card board which is even better for this kind of shipping. This is very light weight. https://amzn.to/4gRgff0

If you are cutting 12×12 Designer Series paper in half this works great for shipping 6 x 12″ https://amzn.to/4nr3Bpe

These clear cello bags are perfect for 6×6 pieces. I sometimes do product shares and this is a great way to keep the papers together. The seal is re-sealable so it is great for going in and out of. https://amzn.to/4nYKHGl

I sometimes offer free 6×6 paper with orders. I put an assortment in the cello bag shown before, and then I put them in this to mail. I like to cut the card board piece that comes in a 12×12 pack into a 6×6 and use that to help keep it more firm. https://amzn.to/3KmM8Qp

Class By Mail

These are 7″ x 10″ ziplock bags. I put the supplies to make 8 cards in these and then put them in a bubble mailer. https://amzn.to/46L2ZUf

8 1/2 x 11 Mailer

These mailers are great for my card classes. https://amzn.to/4q3JBuO

Stickers

It is fun to put a sticker on the package. These are in expensive. https://amzn.to/3KmMNBp

Here is another good pack of stickers

Aren’t they cute! https://amzn.to/42NmKJO

Scale

This works great. I use it in the kitchen too for making sour dough. It has different modes so if you are wanting ounces, lbs, grams… It is all there. https://amzn.to/42Z3hG2

Thermal Printer

A Thermal Printer is so nice to have! I was going through a lot of ink and having to cut down typing paper and then tape it on the package. With this, it prints on sticker paper. Such a game changer. https://amzn.to/3KmrrnI

Sticker Paper

This speeds up getting things ready for the post office. Just peel off the back and stick it on the package! https://amzn.to/4mITKdl #AmazonAssciate

I hope these help you out! If you are going to do any shipping a scale is a must. I often recycle my amazon bubbler mailers so I encourage you to do that too. You can put on a cute sticker to dress it up a little.
