Framed Florets Birthday Card

Stampin Up released a new suite called Fitting Florets.  This is the first card I made using the bundle.

I used Thick Vanilla card stock for the card base and used Vanilla card stock for the rest.  

I embossed the first layer using Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder to add some texture.

I used scraps to stamp the flowers and die cut them along with the frame.

I like to stamp the oval before adhering it to the card in case I don't like how it looks, then I can flip it over and stamp again.

To color, Stampin Blends are my go to.  They are so nice to work with.  

After adhering the pieces to the card, finish by adding 2-3 Gold adhesive backed swirls.  

 

This card design would work great for a wedding, anniversary, thinking of you….
