Mermaid Punch Card

My niece is had a Mermaid party so I made this card for her.

 

To get the look on the sand, I took the stamp pad and patted it on the card stock moving it all different directions. 

Here is a closer picture of the Mermaid.

 

It used many punches.  I used: Word Window, 1 1/4" circle punch, Extra Large Oval Punch, and Boho Blossoms Punch.  All are available now on my website. www.kristenbryant.stampinup.net

 Here is a picture of the back of the mermaid so you can see how it was pieced together.

To create the water background I pulled out my brayer and wrapped several rubber bands around it.  I then ran it over the ink pad several times to get it full of ink.  I finished by rolling if over the card stock.  I used Pool Party, the same color as the card stock.
