Race for the Cure

I meant to post this a few days ago, but oh well, here it is!  On Mother's Day we walked 5k for Race for the Cure.  This

is the second year we did it as a family.

Here I am with my mom and sister.    My sister is a one year
survivor, and my mom is a 27 year survivor.

This

is the second year we have participated.  They have several booths passing out many free items ranging from Panera ribbon shaped bagles to the stickers under the kids eyes. 

Here is a picture of the survivors after the walk meeting in the Mall of America.  There were over 2000 of them! 

We had a wonderful time, and it is great to be a part of an event that is so well run and that helps fight cancer.  

I was very excited when I saw this this Ribbon of Hope Stamp, which is one of the few individual stamps that we carry, in our catalog.  It is great because you can stamp it in any color to represent the ribbon you want to support at the time.  Let me know if you would like to order one.
