When I had my advanced cards class we made the above card. To make the flower, you need to start with Shimmer White card stock. Emboss the flower with white. I sprayed the card stock with water, and then took a couple re-inkers (Regal Rose and So Saffron) and put a couple drops on a stamp set case. I ran my aqua painter through the drop of Regal rose and applied it to the wet Shimmer White Card stock. The color runs since it is wet. Add So Saffron to fill in. Let dry.
My friend and fellow demonstrator Lyssa Zwolanek taught me this technique, and also how to make your own colored ribbon. Start with White Taffeta Ribbon. Run a So Saffron marker down one side, and then Regal Rose down the other side. Run the Aqua Painter down the middle to blend them together.
