My nephew is having a Lego birthday party today. He loves the Legos and the Lego Movie. He has said for months that he was going to have a “Everything is Awesome” party (That is a key phrase in the theme song). I decided to make a 4 out of “Legos.”
I started with a 1” x 1” square for the smallest Lego. The middle Lego is 1” x 1 ½” and the large Lego is 1” x 2”. I punched out ¼" circles and cut Dimensionals to fit under the ¼” circle so the could be popped up.
For the greeting I typed the personalized greeting and printed it on the computer. I cut it so it was a ¾” strip. I then adhered it to a Real Red 1” Strip and then put it in my favorite new punch, Banner Triple. It creates banners in 3 different sizes! It is a must for any crafter.
I used dots textured impressions embossing folder to create the background texture.
Here is a version that uses a stamp instead of the printed greeting.
This was a fun card to make! I enjoy making cards that fit the party theme.
Happy Stamping!
