Color Theory Leaf Card

I am having so much fun creating with Stampin Up's Color Theory Bundle. The first several cards I made used the colors in the Designer Series Paper stack, and so I decided to create a card that isn't bright. It is my first time using Tranquil Tide, a new In Color. I used the stamp pad, card stock, and ribbon.

I like how the thinlit die empresses around the die cut image. I decided to use our Petal Burst embossing folder to add texture to the leaf.

For the ribbon, I cut the Tranquil Tide ribbon a little wider than the base of the card. I used SNAIL behind the Early Espresso piece of card stock, and stuck the edge of the ribbon to it. I then took a few small pieces of Linen Thread and tied it around the straight ribbon to add an accent to it.

Card Base is: 8 1/2 X 5 1/2

Early Espresso piece: 4 X 5 1/4

Crumb Cake Piece: 3 3/4 x 5

I like using Thinking of You on cards because they can be used for so many different occasions.
